Apple put eye tracking in a $3,500 headset. Everysight just put it in 47-gram glasses for $359.
The Maverick AI Pro are the first smart glasses with built-in eye-tracking hardware. A sub-1g sensor module sits inside the frame and powers GazeIntent — Everysight’s gaze-driven interaction system. Look at a menu item, dwell, selected. No hand gestures, no voice commands, no tapping the temple like it’s 2024.
The display is a monocular full-color OLED — 1,280×720, 5,000 nits peak brightness, projecting a 130-inch virtual screen. Unlike Meta or Snap, Everysight skips waveguides entirely. The image projects onto the lens and reflects back, which is why the battery lasts 9 hours (Meta Ray-Ban Display gets about 6). The whole thing weighs 47g — 2g lighter than Ray-Ban Metas that don’t even have a screen.
Powered by Alif Semiconductor’s Ensemble E7 — dual Cortex-M55 CPUs, dual Ethos-U55 NPUs — so ML inference runs on-device, not in the cloud.
There’s also a camera-free Maverick AI at $299 for anyone who doesn’t want a lens pointed at people.
What Developers Can Build
Everysight ships an open SDK with iOS and Android support. The GazeIntent API exposes real-time gaze data, letting developers build hands-free interactions — think surgery dashboards, warehouse picking, field service overlays. The SDK docs live on Everysight’s GitHub, and the Ensemble E7’s on-device NPUs mean custom ML models can run locally without streaming data off the glasses.
For AI agents, this is the interesting part: a wearable with an API that tells you exactly what the user is looking at, plus on-device compute to act on it.
Kickstarter launched March 31, 2026. Early bird $359 (MSRP $599). Shipping expected Q4 2026. Gizmodo’s hands-on called them “intriguing and unpolished” — the eye tracking needs a precise fit and recalibration if the glasses shift. Early tech, real hardware, open platform.
