Logitech Rally AI Camera opens its SDK — AI agents can hook into RightSight 2

Most conference cameras are black boxes. The Rally AI Camera isn’t.

Logitech put this thing on GitHub with real SDK docs and a Discord for integrators. For a PTZ at this price point, that’s unusual.

The hardware

One-inch 20MP sensor, 115° field of view, RightSight 2 running on-device — adaptive framing that flips between group shot, solo speaker, and grid layout in real time. The Pro variant bolts on a dual-camera system with 15x hybrid zoom. Base ships Spring 2026 at $2,499. Pro follows in Summer 2026 at $2,999. Graphite and off-white. Ceiling, wall, TV mount, or embedded in-wall.

What the SDK actually lets you do

Device auth is API-key based, with the key sealed in Arm TrustZone. Full-disk AES-128, device attestation, the works. Once you’re in, agents can subscribe to speaker-tracking events, flip framing modes, and pipe the feed into a meeting-summary or multimodal-assistant pipeline. The Bitfocus Companion request — issue #122 — is the tell. Pro AV folks already want to script it. A camera that tells your agent who’s talking, in real time, is a different kind of building block than a webcam.
