Sixfab ALPON X5 AI runs 25 TOPS on a Raspberry Pi CM5 — without NVIDIA inside

Sixfab walked out of CES 2026 with the Best of Innovation award in Enterprise Tech, beating 3,600 submissions. The interesting part isn’t the trophy — it’s that the whole box is a Raspberry Pi Compute Module 5 wired to DeepX’s DX-M1 accelerator. No Jetson. 25 TOPS INT8 at about 3.5W average draw.

What’s in the box

Fanless ruggedized industrial gateway: CM5, NVMe storage, dual Ethernet, WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, global 4G LTE/eSIM, HDMI out, GPIO, and 9–30V DC or USB-PD power. Built to live in a factory closet or roadside cabinet and run real-time camera analytics — defect detection, safety violations, anomaly spotting — without ever uploading footage. Keep video local, kill the cloud inference bill.

How an agent drives it

Sixfab ships ALPON Cloud with a REST API over a K3s container runtime. Push containerized models OTA, pull device health, read inference outputs remotely. The agent loop writes itself: an LLM hits the cloud API, pulls defect events from a fleet of X5s on a production line, opens tickets, retrains a model, pushes the new one out the same way. Closest thing to “eyes in the field” an agent can drive without ever touching the hardware.
