Jesse Vincent (obra on GitHub) shipped Superpowers and it’s currently pulling in 1,400+ stars a day. The repo just crossed 190K total. More telling: Anthropic added it to the official Claude Code plugin marketplace, where it’s already the most-installed plugin in the store.
What Superpowers actually is
It’s an agentic skills framework. Vincent took the full software development loop — brainstorming, scoping, coding, testing, reviewing, merging — and broke it into discrete skills that are composable, testable, and shareable. Each skill is a small, scoped capability the agent picks up on demand. Think of it as a standard library for coding agents, instead of every team rebuilding the same prompts in private.
Why it’s spreading across every coding agent
Superpowers runs across Claude Code, Codex CLI, Codex App, Factory Droid, Gemini CLI, OpenCode, Cursor, and GitHub Copilot CLI. That covers basically every serious coding agent shipping right now. On Claude Code, install with /plugin install superpowers@claude-plugins-official — skills auto-trigger, no manual wiring per agent.
