Picsart shipped an MCP server and GenAI CLI on April 28, 2026. Plug it into Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, or Windsurf and one connection gives an agent access to 140+ models — Nano Banana, Flux, Sora, Kling, Veo, Runway, Recraft, ElevenLabs, GPT Image — across image, video, and audio.
What you actually call
It’s an MCP gateway, not a Picsart app feature. Instead of wiring each vendor’s API one by one, the agent picks up the whole roster in a single handshake. Background removal, style transfer, text-to-video, character try-on, voiceover — all invokable in natural language. Ask for 100 ad variants and it routes each call to the right model without you naming the model.
Why it matters
Picsart is repositioning. The consumer creator app now packages itself as the model-routing layer for agent workflows. Canva and Adobe will have to respond — content companies without an MCP endpoint in 2026 stop being reachable by the agents doing the work.
The pressure point is pricing and latency. Bundling 140 vendors behind one bill is the easy part. Keeping it cheaper than calling them direct is the hard part.
