Meta’s Wearables Device Access Toolkit has been “preview only” for months. Solos just shipped a public one on smart glasses you can buy today for $299.
The AirGo V2 launched at CES 2026 and is shipping now, positioned squarely as the budget answer to Meta Ray-Ban. Ultra-slim frame, 16MP stabilized camera with EIS, low-power Wi-Fi for live full-HD streaming, and SolosChat 3.0 piping into multimodal AI across image, video, audio, and text. A 1,100mAh charging case lands Q2 2026. Modular SmartHinge lets you hot-swap battery temples for multi-day runtime.
The AirGo SDK is the real story
The SDK is public, iOS and Android, with access to the camera, mics, touch sensors, and the full on-device sensor stack. $1,999 gets developers two pairs of glasses — one AirGo V2 camera unit, one AirGo A5 audio unit — plus a year of support. No preview list, no waitlist.
Integrations already shipped
Envision’s Ally AI is running on it for blind and low-vision users: text recognition, object ID, scene description. Deutsche Telekom demoed an AI cooking app at Digital X in Cologne. Hong Kong Polytechnic is piloting speech therapy. Meta is still gatekeeping. Solos is shipping.
