What’s actually inside
Each skill is one SKILL.md file — YAML frontmatter, markdown instructions, optional scripts — following Anthropic’s December 2025 agent skills standard. The 17 skills cover the full developer loop: a grill-me skill that forces Claude Code to interview you with clarifying questions before it writes a line of code, TDD workflows, GitHub triage with custom label vocabularies, vertical-slice architecture decomposition, and a “caveman” mode that compresses prompts roughly 75%. Drop the folder into your repo’s .claude/skills/ and they activate automatically — no API, no install step.
Why it spread so fast
Pocock frames the whole repo as a fix for the most common Claude Code failure: the agent confidently builds the wrong thing because nobody made it ask. grill-me alone gets quoted everywhere on dev Twitter as the missing piece. Production teams now treat this as the baseline before writing their own skills.
