HeyZoku — orchestrate an army of coding agents by voice, ten terminals with zero cloud

Talking to one coding agent is easy. Steering ten of them without losing your mind is the actual problem in 2026. HeyZoku is a Mac app that tackles it with your voice.

What it actually is

It’s a voice control layer that sits on top of Claude Code, Codex, and Cursor. You spawn, redirect, and interrupt agents by name, out loud — no tab-switching, no typing into ten terminals. Tell Claude to fire up extra Cursor terminals and split a task, and it runs them in parallel. Up to ten agents at once, and you stop babysitting each one.

The bottleneck stopped being the model a while ago. It’s how many agents a single human can keep pointed in the right direction. HeyZoku bets voice is the answer.

Why it’s worth a look

Speech recognition runs fully on-device via NVIDIA Parakeet — offline, no cloud round-trip, no subscription. You pay once. That combination is rare: most voice tools ship your audio to a server and bill monthly.

Built by indie dev Priyanshu, it landed on Product Hunt riding two waves at once — agent swarms and local-first. If running five agents already feels like herding cats, this is the leash.
