PL-Universe just made its European debut at Hannover Messe 2026, and the headline number is ±0.05mm absolute positioning accuracy on a wheeled industrial humanoid. The ProWhite Robot 2.0 is built for 3C electronics and automotive lines — the kind of place where switching a product variant used to mean days of retooling. PL-Universe says ProWhite drops that to seconds, cuts changeover cost 80%, slashes line switching and debugging time 90%, and holds yield above 99%.
What the hardware actually is
A roughly 1.5-meter wheeled humanoid running PL-Universe’s self-developed SDPAA architecture, paired with four swappable end effectors — locking, dispensing, oiling, soldering — that cover about 40% of core electronics manufacturing tasks. Headquartered in Suzhou and founded January 2025, the company has already shipped first units onto real factory floors before the Hannover demo. This is not a show robot, it is a piece of production equipment dressed up as a humanoid.
The dexterous hand and the JD play
The new hand is PL-WitHand: 20 degrees of freedom, hybrid tendon-linkage transmission, claimed to be the first industrial-grade hybrid-driven dexterous hand, running PL-Universe’s ProxiGrasp grasping algorithm. The distribution angle is the more interesting part — JD.com is the exclusive global online seller, which means a Chinese factory humanoid with JD’s logistics behind it, shipping straight to overseas buyers without the usual integrator middleman.
