Pool cleaning robots all share one annoyance: when the battery dies, you fish them out by hand. MAMMOTION’s SPINO S1 Pro just made that obsolete with a robotic arm dock that hauls the robot onto the deck to recharge.
The robotic arm trick
The patent is called AutoShoreCharge. An articulated arm dock sits on the pool edge. When the battery runs low, the robot navigates back, the arm latches on, lifts it out of the water, and parks it for charging. World’s first, per MAMMOTION. The product picked up a CES 2026 award before this week’s Kickstarter launch.
Specs and price
Dual roller brushes plus five brushless motors generate 6,800 GPH of suction. ToF sensors keep it within 1 cm of the wall. 10-meter underwater communication for navigation. Kickstarter went live April 28 at a super early bird $1,699, which is $800 below MSRP. There’s also a stripped SPINO S1 with no docking arm for $899. Campaign runs through May 28.
