The Pin Universe asked Kickstarter for $13,000. Backers handed them nearly $300,000 by mid-April. That’s 20x oversubscribed for a titanium smart ring most people hadn’t heard of two months ago.
What it actually is
A 5ATM titanium smart ring — no monthly subscription, roughly 7 days of battery, wireless charging case. Inside: multi-wavelength optical sensors, motion data, and skin temperature tracking, all fused by an on-device AI model into 16 health metrics, sampled every 5 minutes. Kickstarter price $249, MSRP $499, shipping August 2026.
Why people are losing it
This is the first ring claiming non-invasive blood pressure, blood glucose risk, and sleep apnea detection — three things Oura and Ultrahuman still won’t touch. Whether the AI sensor fusion actually delivers clinical-grade accuracy is the open question, and that’s exactly why hands-on previews from Trusted Reviews and WiFi-HiFi in April lit up X and Reddit.
No subscription is the kicker. Oura users have spent years complaining about the $5.99/month wall. PIN Pulse just removed it.
