Agent-Reach gives AI coding agents zero-API-fee access to 16 web platforms from one CLI

Most AI coding agents are blind to the live web — or they pay per call to get there. Agent-Reach, an open-source CLI trending on GitHub, hands them eyes for free: unified read-and-search access to 16 platforms through a single install.

## What it reaches

The list is broad and unusually international: Twitter/X, Reddit, YouTube, GitHub, LinkedIn, Instagram, plus the Chinese stack — Bilibili, XiaoHongShu, Douyin, Weibo, WeChat articles, Xiaoyuzhou podcasts — with RSS and Exa web search on top. It works with any shell-capable agent: Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, OpenClaw. Setup is `pip install agent-reach` then `agent-reach install`.

## The zero-fee angle

The pitch is cost. Every backend is a free tool with no paid API key required, so an agent can pull real-time social and web data without metering each request. The only optional spend is a ~$1/month residential proxy if you need Bilibili from a server. For agents that live or die on fresh data, that’s the difference between researching and guessing.
