Jensen Huang demoed it at CES 2026. Over 3,000 units sold in the first week. Pollen Robotics Reachy Mini is a 28cm, 1.5kg open-source desktop humanoid robot — and at $299 for the Lite version, it’s the cheapest way to get a physical AI dev kit on your desk.
What You Actually Get
Six degrees of freedom in the head, 360° body rotation, expressive LED eyes, a wide-angle HD camera, 4-mic array for sound localization, and a 5W speaker. Powered by a Raspberry Pi CM4. The Wireless version ($449) adds untethered operation. It’s a DIY kit — you assemble it, but Seeed Studio made the build dead simple.
The SDK Is the Real Story
Full Python SDK (reachy_mini). Control motors, grab camera frames, pipe audio — all in a few lines. The killer feature: native Hugging Face integration. You can run any of the 1.7M+ models on the platform directly on this robot. Vision-language models, speech recognition, gesture control — the Hugging Face Spaces app store lets you one-click install community-built robot apps.
For AI agent builders: the SDK supports a full perception-decision-action loop. Your agent sees through the camera, hears through the mics, and acts through motor commands — all via Python.
