The GE Profile Smart 4-Door French-Door Refrigerator with Kitchen Assistant is a 27.9 cu. ft. fridge with an 8-inch LCD touchscreen, a built-in barcode scanner in the exterior dispenser, and an AI camera system called FridgeFocus inside the crisper drawers. Scan an item running low, and it auto-populates your SmartHQ shopping list with brand, flavor, and size. That list syncs to Instacart for 30-minute delivery. The FridgeFocus camera lets you check what’s in your fridge remotely — no more buying a second bag of spinach.
Announced at CES 2026, now shipping April 2026 at $4,899.

This is API-interactive hardware. GE’s SmartHQ platform exposes an OAuth 2.0 REST API — sensor data, camera snapshots, shopping list state, all accessible programmatically.
