75 hours airborne. No refueling. A 42.5-pound solar-powered drone at 20,000 feet while one operator controls the swarm.
On April 7, AFCENT handed Kraus Hamdani a $270 million contract for the K1000ULE — its largest ultra-long-endurance ISR drone order.
The Hardware
Fixed-wing, Group 2 drone. 16.5-foot wingspan, all-electric propulsion, lithium-ion batteries recharged by solar cells across the wings. Two people carry it. Launch from a vehicle or vertical takeoff. Range: 700+ nautical miles, all-weather, with a record-setting 75-hour 35-minute continuous flight — double the previous mark.
It acts as a quarterback: relaying sensor data across drone swarms while running ISR autonomously.
The Lattice API Layer
The brain is Anduril’s Lattice software — and it’s fully API-interactive. Lattice exposes gRPC and REST endpoints with SDKs in Python, Go, TypeScript, and Java. Through the developer platform, you push mission plans, pull real-time sensor fusion data, and coordinate multi-drone tasking programmatically. Field use cases include automated ISR patrol routing, cross-platform sensor integration, and swarm coordination across mixed drone types.
The Army and Marines already bought batches. Now the Air Force is going all in.
