Anthropic launched Claude for Small Business on May 13. It’s a toggle-install SKU — flip a switch, Claude shows up inside QuickBooks, PayPal, HubSpot, Canva, DocuSign, Google Workspace, and Microsoft 365. No IT team required, no API wiring, no integration weekend.
What’s actually in the box
The package ships with ready-to-run automation workflows: invoice chasing in QuickBooks, lead enrichment in HubSpot, contract drafting in DocuSign. Customers also get the same Opus 4.7 model Anthropic released the same day, plus doubled Claude Code rate limits thrown in. Nothing here is a new model or a new agent — it’s the connectors that matter.
Why this is a direct shot at Microsoft
This is Anthropic’s first dedicated SMB SKU, and the targeting is not subtle. Microsoft Copilot has owned the SMB conversation by default — every QuickBooks shop is also a Microsoft 365 shop. By dropping Claude inside the exact same tools without forcing anyone out of Office, Anthropic is trying to convert Copilot’s distribution into Anthropic’s distribution. Google Workspace AI gets squeezed from the same angle.
The unanswered question is pricing. Anthropic hasn’t said whether this comes in at Copilot’s $30/seat or undercuts it. The integration list is the headline; the price tag decides who actually switches.
