A robot brain trained on real warehouse work
Sereact closed a $110M Series B led by Headline and is opening Boston as its first US office. It’s the brain running 200+ industrial picking robots already live for BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Daimler Truck, PepsiCo, Austrian Post and Rohlik. Track record: 1 billion real production picks, one human takeover every ~53,000 tries.
Cortex 2.0 bolts a world model on top of a vision-language-action model. Before the arm moves, it simulates candidate trajectories against learned physics, scores each for stability, risk and efficiency, and commits only to the best branch. Bin shifts mid-pick? It re-rolls in real time. Most world-model work is synthetic-data PhD theses — this one was trained on a billion live picks.
API into someone else’s warehouse
This is the rare AI hardware an external agent can actually call. Sereact ships an API/SDK into existing WMS and MES stacks (AutoStore integration in production), so an agent can dispatch pick/place jobs, query progress and read exception events without redesigning the floor. The same brain runs across single-arm cells, dual-arm returns stations, fixed automation and humanoids. The pitch: one brain, any robot.
